  • Our client company, the premier manufacturer and supplier of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician (3rd Shift: 10PM - 6AM) at our manufacturing facility located in Albion, IN.

  • This position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical related problems in accordance with standard practices of the electrical trade to include troubleshooting skills with the ability to repair and/or instruct others on necessary repairs with little to no supervision. Demonstrated ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities of an Electrical Technician. Knowledge and demonstrated ability of strong Electrical, CNC, and Robotic experience. Knowledge and demonstrated ability of basic electrical formulas applicable to the job. Demonstrated ability to understand and troubleshoot solid-state devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to reprogram ladder logic and make effective use of software troubleshooting and diagnostics. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair all major problems with in-house equipment. Requires flexibility to work overtime to support production needs. Must maintain good attendance, follow all safety policies and procedures, and maintain a positive team environment. Must be capable of assuming control of the maintenance department in the absence of the supervisor/group leader.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; OR
  • 5+ years of related experience and/or training; OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Our client is seeking an Industrial Electrical Foreman to join our team. The position will be apart of supervision of installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of industrial electrical systems.
  • Job Responsibilities: (Working foreman)
  • Work with Project Managers, Customers and other types of management to plan, organize, and direct the work of job crew employees daily
  • Maintain familiarity with plans, specifications, and job folder contract scope
  • Plan layout and installation of same in accordance with job specifications
  • Attend coordination meetings as required and provide necessary information
  • Receive and review weekly job assignments
  • Complete a detailed list of all required materials, tools, and manpower for job assignments and communicate requirements with the direct Project Manager
  • Assist in the monitoring and documentation of the progress of the job using appropriate forms and procedures as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Provide workforce with current and accurate information as generated by the Project Manager, including RFI's, memorandums, and any other forms of communication devices
  • Assist in the communication of company policies and procedures to the job crew
  • Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Codes as needed
  • Order daily materials as needed for your work area and follow up on backorders as necessary through the Project Manager
  • Monitor and track employee work time as necessary and assist Project Manager and workforce in the proper coding of time cards as required
  • Be available to the team for any questions regarding tasks being performed
  • Ensure the job site is properly cleaned up at the end of each workday
  • Ensure compliance with all job safety standards established by all regulatory agencies
  • Responsibly manage assigned truck, tools and equipment

MUST HAVE:

  • Experience in supervision of installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of industrial electrical systems.
  • 2 years of electrical supervision experience in Industrial Setting
  • Experience in installation in Industrial Setting
  • Experience in managing 1–5-member team in Industrial Setting
  • Able to Interpret and Implement Blueprint specification
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
